Photography has long been a hobby of mine. I was always the one with a camera on trips or at special occasions with family and friends. However, I really didn’t pay much attention to what I was doing as I took photographs. I was basically just recording a vacation or a social gathering.

All that changed when I took my first photography workshop in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I realized it was possible to do more than just make a record of places traveled, special occasions, and good times. I also realized that I didn’t have a clue how to do that.

Participating in many photography workshops and classes has helped me to discover and develop my own photographic style. As I travel about with my camera I find myself particularly drawn to architectural detail, abstract compositions, simple images, and bright colors. All themes you will see repeated in these galleries and on my blog.

My hope is that this website will be a constant challenge for me to grow as a photographer, and that you will enjoy seeing and sharing my photographic journey.
